Who we are
Art Adventures NZ is a New Zealand owned Art tour business, based out of Queenstown, Otago.
We welcome you to Art Adventures! We're thrilled to have you embark on a creative journey with us. Before you get started, please take a moment to review our terms and conditions. By using our services, you agree to abide by these terms.

1. Art Adventures NZ is a tour-based company which runs in all weather with modified activities for extreme or adverse weather.
1.1 Art Adventures is a group-based tour which is open to mixed bookings, to which the guide and owner will work to the even and fair strengths of the group in any location or needs. Any visitor has the option to purchase an individual / personally guided tour at their expense as listed in private tours.
1.2 Children are welcome to join the group under the care, safety and behaviour management of the parents. But their seat in the transport and art materials used must be covered at the same cost as an adult.
2. Booking , Payments and Cancellations
2.1 Art Adventures offers various art experiences and tours. By booking a session, you agree to pay the specified fee. When you have ‘clicked’ pay and process my booking- your card will be charged the full amount owing in New Zealand dollars. Here you will be able to check your booking dates and times. Please communicate with us immediately if you have made a mistake, either by phone or email as listed in Contact us. We want you to have your trip booked exactly as you need. Please contact us with any questions by email, which we will endeavour to reply promptly.
2.2 Payments are processed securely through our designated payment gateway. We do not store your financial information. Once payment is made you will receive a booking confirmation by email, and we will have your name and location ready for the day chosen. Your confirmation booking email is your proof of payment.
Art Adventures does not keep/ store / sell or pass on any details used through the booking process.
Cancellations
2.3 By booking with us you agree to any cancellations and changes due to adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances with Art Adventures and abide by the cancellation policy terms below.
2.4 Cancellations, changes and refunds are subject to our cancellation policy. If a booking is cancelled by Art adventures and you are unable to re-schedule you will receive a full refund once, we have received your email in writing. Please explain simply the reason for being unable to re-schedule. We will then refund you the full mount with a confirmation email.
2.5. If You need to reschedule, change or cancel your booking in any way. You will need to contact Art Adventures directly by phone or email to discuss your booking requirements. All changes, cancellations and / or refunds are entirely at the discretion of Art Adventures NZ and will be assisted and considered with sufficient notice.
2.6 Cancellation terms.
· Cancellations received more than 7 days before the booking time will be refunded in full.
· Cancellations received under 7 days and 48 hrs before the booked start time will receive a 50% refund.
· Cancellations received under 48 hrs notice of the booked start time / or No shows to the booking day will not receive any refund.
In the event of a situation inside 48 hrs, we ask you to directly contact us by phone to discuss your situation. It is completely up to the discretion of Art Adventures NZ if we can offer you a credit or reschedule.
2.7 Art Adventures NZ reserves the right to cancel or change any tour or service as a result of weather conditions, insufficient numbers or any other unforeseen event or circumstance. You can choose to reschedule or gain a credit or receive a full refund from Art Adventures NZ.
3. Conduct and Safety
3.1 Participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully, be respectful and kind to other passengers and follow any guidelines provided by our instructors.
3.2 Art Adventures reserves the right to remove any participant who engages in disruptive or unsafe behaviour. In the event of any passenger disagreements, Art adventures has the right to end the session early or ask any participants to remove themselves from the group. No offensive behaviour or language will be tolerated.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 All content and materials provided during Art Adventures sessions are protected by copyright. Participants may not reproduce or distribute these materials without permission. All photography taken by Art adventures staff are owned by Art adventures NZ. And any images of visitors will only be used with their permission.
5. Liability, Privacy and Permission
5.1 While we take every precaution to ensure a safe experience, Art Adventures is not liable for any injuries, damages or lost property that may occur during our adventures and experiences. We do walk, hike and move across different landscapes. Any participant is expected to have the appropriate clothing / footwear and personal items needed with them for the day. We will have water, sun-cream and necessary items for outdoor booked experience.
5.2 Participants may be asked to sign a permission slip before participating in certain group activities, where group photographs may be taken. This is to allow the Art adventures staff to know if there is any specific identity /privacy needs of any participant in the form of future published images to our website or social media.
6. Modifications and Termination
6.1 Art Adventures reserves the right to modify any tour, suspend, delay or terminate tour services at any time without notice due to an unforeseen circumstance. But we will always endeavour to connect and communicate with all participants if changes or situations arise.
6.2 We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
7. Governing Law
7.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand .
